Megan's 1st week

We made it through our first week! Megan sleeps a lot - unlike her big brother. Alexander loves talking to 'baby'; he likes to show her his toys. It will be a lot different once she's older and wants to play with the toys. I've had a lot of help over the past week. My mom came over every day last week to play with Alex and David's mom and sister are helping this week. It's nice to have both families living in town. I decided with the arrival of our baby girl, it's time to create a blog for our family.

Megan was born April 21 at 4:40 pm weighing 6 lb 7 oz. She is a beautiful girl and was in quite a hurry to make her arrival. My water broke just after 3:30 and she came about an hour later. My mother-in-law was the fast crazy driver on Hwy 6 yesterday rushing me to the hospital! She kept saying that she doesn't deliver babies. Luckily we made it to Methodist Hospital on time and Megan was born just minutes later.

Alexander is happy to be a big brother. He gave Megan kisses on her cheek this morning and sang and danced around the room for her. We hope to go home tonight and I'll blog and post more pictures this week. You can check my sister-in-law's blog All Things Kelly for more pictures.
